Thank goodness I found your channel this morning. I went vegetarian Dec. 2, 2008 and I'm happy with that decision. But I've gained weight when I actually needed to lose. Clear conscience/weight gain? Not an option.

sounds pretty good, but watch out for ham, it's full of salt which retains water in your body, maybe replace it with turkey? no harm in having some treats every once in a while, moderation is the key thing in my opinion.

The potato salad looks great I'll have to try that with the low fat yogurt it sounds much healthier then fatty mayo.
But if you hate to write everything down and you think it is boring then you can make your journal more fun. Go for a personal record and write down the number of minutes you workout every day or how many useful products you have eaten. Well, write down anything you feel like and what makes you feel better and motivated to keep going with your weight loss routine. Create a reward system for your successes. Every time you eat less or exercise more or have achieved some other success in your weight loss plan, treat yourself with something you would like such as massage, new shoes or dress, whatever will keep you motivated to keep going and sticking to that weight loss plan. You can make your weight loss process public and create a blog where you will tell the world about your successes. It will give you a huge motivation to keep going.
